Our business is saving energy and providing training and technical support to those interested in doing the same.  We provide a wide range of services including, but not limited to:  residential energy inspections, building science training courses for businesses and corporations, and a wide range of resources for energy saving products for new construction green building and energy saving retrofits for existing homes and builidings.

Interested In BPI Certification?

We are Building Performance Institute affiliates.  We offer not only certification exams, but also the training to build the skills needed to satisfy all the required areas of testing.  The Building Performance Institute was founded in 1993, and has become the benchmark for home energy retrofit standards and practices. 

BPI and the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) are in the process of consolidating their certifications and making their relationship seamless.  This will make certification between both BPI and Resnet more versatile, and those certified will enjoy the recoginition of being associated with both organizations and the profitability of both the existing and new construction markets. Who can become BPI certifed?

Anyone.  While no formal experience is necessary to participate in most examinations, we strongly recommend you seek appropriate training (which we offer) and have some experience in the building performance industry. 

Do we have to take all the courses?

No.  Successful completion of one certification examination is sufficient to become BPI certified.  If you want to expand your skill set and business offering, we encourage you to take other BPI certifications.
